The Madagascan Sunset Moth's Life Cycle
Madagascan Sunset Moths have 4 stages in their life cycle. First, the female moth attaches her eggs to leaves, stems and other objects normally near food that catipillar can eat. Second, the egg hatches to start the caterpillar stage. This stage proves to be the worm-like stage of the moth's life. Third, the caterpillar make a chrysalis. In this stage, the caterpiller's adult structures are formed. Fourth, the adult moth (that is out of the chrysalis) as already said, is the stage that the female moth lays eggs. This stage is also known as the mobile stage because this is when they move about and find new places to live.
